I’m a Canberra based artist whose goal is to use their business as a platform for both creativity and education. I aim to use my art as a tool for social change by starting the conversation about eating disorders and help break down the stigma surrounding them.
THE ROOTS
My story begins at the age of 8, after having watched the film adaptation of Bridge to Terabithia for the very first time. I had never felt inspiration like I had seeing the illustrations that flooded Jesse Aarons’ sketch book. At 13, I got on the Instagram train, and discovered Kristina Webb, aka, "‘Colour Me Creative” – an artist from NZ who embodied everything I aspired to be.
Since then, I’ve had many career epiphanies and spurts of motivation to pursue all sorts of things – more often than not, in the realm of art. For a while, I was adamant I would one day be a character performer at Disneyland or make it to Broadway as a backup plan.
Throughout school, I swore I would never draw for a living (a reference to my ironic Instagram handle at the time ‘draw4a_living’). It wasn’t until I got on the path to recovery that I realised this was only because I was intimidated by the artists that inspired me.
For a very long time, I limited myself to what I knew I was good at, drawing. Australian artist, Tahlia Stanton, got me out of that headspace and I began to paint. This unleashed something I hadn’t felt since Bridge to Terabithia.
Not only was I motivated to do something about this feeling, but I was also at a point in my recovery where I felt content with who I was, what I was doing, and the direction I was going. My relationship with food no longer controlled me as much as it used to and I had learnt that there is no shame in having an eating disorder. With an aptitude for art and a passion to educate people on the importance of eating disorders, I combined the two and made it my mission to raise awareness by donating a portion of my sales to Butterfly.

THE ART
My works portray a visual narrative centred around the philosophy that everything happens for a reason. Delving into the diversity of life’s experiences, my works carefully navigate through the realms of positivity, adversity, and imperfection.
Through abstract expressionism, my acrylic paintings explore life’s multifaceted dimensions and serve as a vibrant and eloquent reminder, accentuating life’s silver lining and celebrating the inherent beauty hidden within every nuance of existence.
Whether you are looking to add a pop of colour to your home or office, or simply want to experience the joy and beauty of vibrant paintings, my artworks are sure to delight and inspire. I work closely with my clients to ensure their ideas, memories, and/or vibes are properly captured in the final product. Through close collaboration, I can transform your thoughts and feelings into stunning, meaningful works of art.
If colour isn’t your thing, my graphite portraits are a timeless way to preserve the unique personality and beauty of your pets and/or loved ones. Capture the essence of your friends, family or special someone with a personalised portrait, transforming your memories into a work of art.
My style ranges from modern and minimalistic to detailed and intricate. No matter the medium, I am always looking for opportunities and challenges that expose me to new tools and techniques.
